A Look Back at the Stars We Lost in 2022

It might seem odd to think of celebrities as just as human as the rest of us, but when we look at the stars we lost in 2022, we realize this is true.

Did one of your favorite actors, musicians, or sports heroes die in 2022? That might have made it a more troublesome year for you than others before it. Celebrities put themselves out in the public eye for us to admire and judge on a daily basis. This is part of the celebrity life, but when they die, we tend to feel that a piece of our heart goes along with them.

Here are ten of the starts we lost in 2022, offered as a look back.

Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley was one of the most famous women in the world. She died on December 5 at the age of 71. Alley battled her weight later in life but eventually succumbed to a short battle with cancer. Kirstie Alley was well known as the Emmy-winning actress from Cheers, where she played Rebecca Howe. She appeared in many movies and on several television shows during her life, but Cheers was her biggest success.
