Jeep may be the best-known manufacturer for hiding easter eggs in their vehicles, but they are far from the only one. You can find hidden messages and secret features hidden in vehicles from Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, and more. Check out some of the coolest Easter eggs you might want to try searching for.
Which Jeep Animals Can You Find?
If you’ve ever had to put gas in a Jeep Renegade, you might have seen the spider near the fuel tank. Take a look out the rear window, and you just might have a Bigfoot sighting. There’s often a Sasquatch icon on the rear window.
The Genesis Logo
Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis is not only known for its upscale vehicles, but also for having Easter eggs. Many models have puddle lights, and if you look down when they’re on, you’ll see the illuminated area is the Genesis logo.
Hyundai Santa Fe’s “H” Theme
When Hyundai redesigned the Santa Fe in 2024, they left behind some Easter eggs. The headlights, for one, are shaped like the letter H. Actually, there are H patterns all over the latest Santa Fe. You’ll find them integrated into the front dashboard climate vents and in the seat stitching on both the front and rear seats.
The RAM T-Rex
The RAM TRX may not have anything to do with the T-Rex dinosaur, but you’ll find one under the hood. If you look under the airbox cover, you’ll see a giant T-Rex with a smaller dinosaur, or raptor, in its mouth.
This could be, and most likely is, a direct jab at the Ford Raptor, as their giant dinosaur eats their smaller one.
The Ford Mach-E – An Easter Egg You Don’t Have to Hunt for
Ford hid a feature in the SYNC 4A infotainment system. It’s a tribute to Jeff Moore, one of Ford’s developers, who was integral to the development of the Sketch app in most Ford vehicles. He honors his daughter Rose with a unique feature. You can find it by quickly tapping on the Sketch app screen for four seconds. If you do, a red rose will appear on the screen.
Heading to the Moon in the Hummer EV
The GMC Hummer EV’s speaker system at first glance may look like any other speaker, but if you take a few minutes to look a little closer, you’ll see that it’s a map of the moon. The map shows the Sea of Tranquility, which is where Neil Armstrong took his first steps when he landed on the moon.
The Fiat 500e Gives a Nod to Its Heritage
The 2024 Fiat 500e has a few Easter eggs, but one is especially worth finding. If you look in the interior door pulls, you’ll find an image of the first Fiat 500. It’s accompanied by the phrase “Made in Torino,” which is another nod to its beginnings.
While you’re hunting, take a look at the wireless charging mat. It shows an image of the Turin skyline. Turin is the birthplace of the Fiat 500.
