As automakers continue innovating in the electrical vehicle space, drivers are seeing the EV counterpart of many well-loved gas-powered models. One such model is the Chevy Equinox. The all-new Equinox EV aims to be an affordable solution for drivers wanting electric power but at a price point they can afford. Visit your local Chevy dealer to reserve your new Equinox EV today.

Chevy Equinox EV Provides an Affordable Solution

The all-new Chevy Equinox EV will be offered to drivers at a price point of around $30,000 for the base model. This is a nice break from the heftier cost of EV models that have been released this year and in years past. Starting with the base model and beyond, drivers can look forward to a well-crafted electric vehicle that exemplifies performance, comfort, and tech integration.

Unlike many of the latest EV models available to consumers, the Equinox EV hopes to serve as an alternative solution that strays away from the more traditional luxury models that largely dominate the EV space.

Over time, GM has shared that they’ll release more expensive trims of the Equinox EV for drivers who want to bump up in luxury. Let’s take a look at some of the standout features you can look forward to with this all-new electric vehicle.

Redesigned Interior

The most notable change in the Chevy Equinox EV is the way the interior is designed. Take a seat in the cabin of the Equinox EV and you’ll be met with a really clean, sleek, and futuristic design. The Equinox EV takes notes from other EV models and incorporates a very contrasting and futuristic look. A clean dash with a beautiful infotainment display allows you to get that tech integration that today’s emerging automobiles are known for.

Equinox’s exterior boasts a really futuristic appeal too. A muted grill, sleek sides and fenders, and an overall improved profile allow the Equinox EV to hold its own as a competitive, quality-built, and of course affordable electric vehicle.

More Power Without More Cost

The base model is expected to deliver a pretty decent amount of power on a full charge. You can expect to venture out roughly 250 miles on a full battery according to GM’s estimates.

Drivers will also have the option of going with a larger battery pack that boosts you up to 300 miles on a full charge. Drivers who install a level 2 charger in their home can boost up range by 34 miles per hour as well. In public charging stations, DC fast charging capability allows drivers to charge up to 70 miles in about 10 minutes, a pretty nice improvement from the longer charging times required by other EV manufacturers.

Lastly, the Equinox EV will come with an optional 4-wheel drive configuration. Other optional add-ons include GM’s hands-free highway driving software, Super Cruise.

The Equinox EV Holds Its Own

All in all, the all-new Chevy Equinox EV appears to be an SUV that can hold its own when compared to other electric SUVs on the market. The cherry on top with this EV is that you’ll be able to get one at your local Chevy dealer at a really affordable price. At a time when the average EV cost was just over $66,000 according to Kelley Blue Book, the Equinox EV comes at an attractive price point that will certainly catch the eyes of many.
